How direct booking works

Sodality is the directory. A listing opens the host's direct booking site, or a booking page the host publishes here. You confirm the dates with the host and pay the host. There is no Sodality account for guests, and no guest fee.

The public listing shows the town, not the street. The address is sent after the host accepts. When the host uses a page here, that email also includes their payment link. Cancellation follows the policy on the host's booking page.

Sodality does not take the payment, insure the stay, or settle a dispute. For a company that does those things, book on Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com.
